Who is eligible to join Toledo Metro Federal Credit Union?

Toledo Metro Federal Credit Union was established to provide loans, deposits and transaction sources to our defined membership with a high level of quality and cost efficiency. To open an account with TMFCU all that is needed is to be employed by a sponsor group of the credit union or to be a relative of a member.

Accordingly, Toledo Metro Federal Credit Union is designated as a multiple common bond credit union is authorized to amend Section 5 of the Charter to read as follows:

"The field of membership shall be limited to those having the following common bonds:

1. Employees and officials of the City of Toledo, Ohio, except employees of the Fire Department, Communications Division, Division of Solid Waste, Division of Motor Equipment, and fully empowered police officers of the Toledo Police Department;
   
2. Employees of the following groups who work in Lucas County, Ohio:
   1. Toledo Lucas County Port Authority,
      
   2. Lucas Metropolitan Housing Authority, or
      
   3. Cordelia Martin Health Center;
3. Employees and officials of the City of Oregon, Ohio, or the Villages of Waterville or Whitehouse, Ohio;
4. Employees of the following groups who work in Toledo, Ohio:
   1. Community Nursing Services,
      
   2. Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments,
      
   3. Guadalupe Family Health Clinic,
      
   4. East Center for Community Mental Health, Inc.
