miniMETRO CD
Open a regular share saving account with a minimum of $5 and deposit $225 into a 48 month add-on certificate of deposit (CD) for any child age 5 and under and Toledo Metro FCU will deposit $25 into the 48 month add-on CD account for that child! You must make a deposit once a year into the regular share saving account in order for this account not to become dormant. You can add to this certificate at any time over the next four years but you cannot make any withdrawals from the certificate during this time or you will forfeit our match of $25.00. This account makes an excellent gift from parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts! Ask a Toledo Metro FCU staff member for more details and account restrictions.
miniMETRO Grade Card Match
Our Grade Card Match Program for kids K-12 is designed to encourage educational achievement, to teach the benefits of a long-term savings habit, to encourage family membership and build a relationship between TMFCU and our youth, and to promote the Credit Union philosophy of “People Helping People”.
Members age 0-12 require a custodian over the age of 21 to oversee their account. Birth certificate and Social Security card must be presented at time of account opening.

metroMAX share and checking
Retain all the benefits of the miniMETRO account and add a metroMAX checking account designed for specifically for teens.
metroMAX debit card
This card can be used online or at stores to make purchases. The metroMAX card features lower limits than traditional debit cards. Parents are encourage to use Brella to set up transaction alerts and additional card restrictions.
metroMAX secured credit card*
A card that will help your teen build credit and learn how to successfully manage it. By successfully completing a series of financial literacy courses, your teen will earn the funds required to secure their very first credit card!
metroMAX auto loan*
An auto loan specifically designed for teen drivers with a lower interest rate and cash rebate options. These loans are designed to help get teens into their first car while building credit and establishing responsible financial habits.

Members age 13-17 require a valid Driver's License or State ID and Social Security card. metroMAX accounts require a joint owner over the age of 21 to oversee the account.
